This symposium explores the pathways that connect academic research with entrepreneurship and industrial innovation. Particular attention will be devoted to university–industry collaboration, the creation and development of research-based spin-offs, and the role of venture capital in supporting their growth. The contributions will examine strategies for transferring knowledge and technologies to the market, building effective partnerships, attracting investment, and transforming scientific results into competitive ventures capable of generating long-term economic and societal impact.
