Innovative Nanomaterials: Illuminating the Path to Precision Medicine 1/2
Co-organised with Sapienza University of Rome
Chair: Francesca PETRONELLA, CNR-IC

Nanomaterials have long been regarded as a bridge connecting the molecular world with biological systems. Their application in medicine and biology has driven the rapid advancement of nanomedicine and nanobiotechnology, creating unprecedented opportunities for diagnosis, therapy, and personalized healthcare. This session aims to provide an overview of the latest advances in the development and application of nanomaterials for healthcare, encompassing both fundamental research and translational studies.
Topics of interest will include the synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials for biomedical and therapeutic applications, stimuli-responsive nanostructures, nanomaterial-enabled advanced therapies, computational nanomedicine, and regenerative nanomedicine. Particular attention will be devoted to innovative approaches that leverage nanomaterials to improve treatment efficacy, precision, and patient outcomes.
This session aims to inspire the development of next-generation precision medicine solutions by fostering a critical dialogue among young researchers working in nanomaterials, biotechnology, and nanomedicine.
