This session will explore the pathways that enable nanotechnology-based research and innovation to move from the laboratory toward real-world applications. Particular attention will be given to the challenges and opportunities associated with technology transfer, scale-up and sustainability. Bringing together perspectives from different scientific and technological fields, the session will highlight the importance of connecting research, innovation, and industry to speed up the translation of emerging technologies into practical applications.
