Organisational Structure

NanoInnovation 2026 is governed through a structured, multi-level model designed to ensure clear decision-making, scientific excellence and efficient operational delivery.

All decisions regarding the event are taken by the Organizing Committee, which consults and discusses strategic directions with the Steering Committee before reaching conclusions.

The Honorary Board provides enduring institutional endorsement for NanoInnovation as a whole — its members are part of a permanent body, not appointed for individual editions.

The Programme Committee oversees the scientific content and — for each workshop and multi-session event — appoints a dedicated Scientific Committee, subject to approval by the Organizing Committee. These Scientific Committees are listed in the respective workshop and event pages within the related sections of the site.

The Young Innovation track — encompassing schools, PhD sessions and early-career activities — is coordinated by a dedicated Young Innovation Committee, whose composition is detailed in the related section of the site.

The Operational Committee ensures day-to-day coordination and execution. The Local Technical Organising Committee manages on-site logistics.
