Additional Opportunities
All the scientific-technical symposia of NanoInnovation consist of invited talks. The open call for abstracts therefore concerns poster contributions: when submitting your poster abstract, you may also indicate your interest in the following opportunities.
Oral Presentation: A limited number of posters will be selected for an invited oral presentation within the scientific-technical symposia. The applied and innovative nature of the contribution will be a key selection criterion.
YoungInnovation 2026: A special three-day event dedicated to the researchers of the future, open to researchers under 35 years of age and structured as symposia with oral presentations. Symposia topics fall within the areas of Material Sciences and Life Sciences.
Participation fee: If your poster abstract is selected by the Scientific Committee for an invited oral presentation — either within the scientific-technical symposia or within the YoungInnovation symposia — no participation fee will be due, and the fee paid upon submission of the abstract will be refunded in full. The refund does not apply if you also choose to present your poster in the regular conference sessions, in addition to your oral contribution.
In case of selection, you will in any event be asked to confirm whether you accept the invited oral presentation and whether you wish to retain your poster presentation as well.
How to Apply for YoungInnovation
When submitting your poster abstract:
- Select "YES" when asked whether you are under 35 years of age.
- Tick the "YoungInnovation 2026" boxes to confirm your application.
The Scientific Committee will then evaluate your abstract for inclusion in the YoungInnovation symposia.
