VIOLIN I

Alessandro MINGRONE

Born in Rome, he began piano and violin at seven and studied with Lydia Mordkovitch at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, later with Boris Belkin at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena (scholarship and Diploma of Merit). A prizewinner in violin and chamber-music competitions, he has performed as soloist and chamber musician in Italy and abroad, collaborating with the RAI National Symphony Orchestra, the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma and the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano, and appearing as soloist in Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto. He holds the Chair of Violin at the Conservatory of Frosinone.

VIOLIN II

Irene DI DOMENICANTONIO

She began the violin at I.C. "A. Baccelli" in Tivoli, winning several first prizes and a third prize at the National Competition "G. Visconti" in Rome. She has performed with Ennio Morricone's Roma Sinfonietta and co-founded the Tivoli Philharmonic Orchestra as its concertmistress. She graduated with honours in Biotechnology and in Biology and Cellular Technologies at Sapienza University of Rome, and in 2026 completed an Erasmus+ Traineeship at University College Dublin. Her interests lie at the intersection of science, education and the arts.

VIOLA

Gianmarco PIEMARI

He graduated with top honours from the "D. Cotugno" Music High School in L'Aquila and earned degrees in Percussion from the Conservatories of L'Aquila and Pescara. In parallel he completed a diploma in Viola at the "Alfredo Casella" Conservatory, a degree in Electronic Engineering at Rome Tor Vergata, and a degree in Electronic Music, developing his interest in electronics and the physics of sound. He has collaborated with numerous orchestras and ensembles in Italy and abroad, and worked in popular music for several RAI and Mediaset productions.

PIANO

Alice MICHAHELLES

Born into a cosmopolitan family of artists and writers, she studied Piano and Chamber Music at the Cherubini Conservatory in Florence and with Konstantin Bogino in Portogruaro. She has performed across Europe, the UK, Chile and the Middle East. With the Quartetto d'Archi di Roma she toured Turkey and Egypt, and with the Alkman Quartet recorded Mozart for RAI Radio3 Suite. Formerly a professor at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory, she teaches at the National Academy of Dance in Rome and is regularly invited to the Marlborough College Summer School in the UK.

VOICE

Carlotta SEGONI

Carlotta Segoni is a poet, author and singer-songwriter who has been active on the artistic scene for over fifteen years under the stage name Mothia. She developed her vocal training through the Estill Voice Training (EVT) method with Nicola Votino and Daniela Agrumi in Montemurlo, Tuscany. Her artistic work combines poetry and storytelling with musical experimentation, spanning pop rock, ballads and concept recordings developed at Sartoria Musicale in Pistoia.

Her work has received more than thirty national awards and recognitions, including three simultaneous first prizes at the Premio Atlantide, a first prize in Grottaferrata in 2023 for a trilogy of poems, and an award presented at Rome's Capitoline Hill in June 2026 for her single Speranza bambina. Her projects include the nationally broadcast single Andrai and the concept EP La Torre di Liborio. Alongside her musical and literary work, she is also involved in visual arts and social initiatives, including a vocal contribution to the album Variazioni Armoniche, created in support of the rare-disease association I Custodi del DNA.
