NanoInnovation 2026 operates through a structured, multi-level governance model designed to ensure transparent decision-making, scientific excellence and effective technical and operational delivery.

The Organizing Committee holds ultimate decision-making responsibility for the event. Before reaching its conclusions, it consults the Steering Committee on strategic priorities and the overall direction of NanoInnovation.

The Honorary Board provides permanent institutional endorsement and continuity. Its members belong to a standing body supporting NanoInnovation as a whole and are not appointed separately for each edition.

The Programme Committee is responsible for the scientific programme. For every workshop or multi-session event, it appoints a dedicated Scientific Committee, subject to approval by the Organizing Committee. The composition of each Scientific Committee is published on the relevant workshop or event page.

The Young Innovation Committee coordinates the Young Innovation track, including schools, PhD sessions and activities for early-career researchers. Its composition is available in the dedicated section of the website.

The Technical Organising Committee has primary responsibility for the technical and organisational planning and delivery of NanoInnovation. It defines implementation requirements, supervises technical readiness and ensures that programme decisions are translated into effective event solutions.

Operating under the direction and supervision of the Technical Organising Committee, the Operational Committee manages day-to-day coordination and execution. It implements the established priorities and coordinates the practical activities required for the efficient delivery of the event.
